PADI 2: Advanced Freediver Course
Ready to dive deeper and longer?
The PADI Level Two Advanced Freediver course continues the development of freedivers who have mastered the fundamental knowledge and skills for static, dynamic and constant weight freediving. It is intended for freediving enthusiasts who wish to progress by furthering their knowledge and skills. During the course, students will continue developing their understanding of how the underwater world interacts with their body, how that affects them when freediving, refine their selection of freediving equipment, improve their equalization techniques for deeper freediving, improve their breath hold dive time and depth, and advance their skills as a buddy/safety. Students will learn to further develop their static apnea over 2 minutes and 30 seconds, dynamic apnea to 50 meters/165 feet, and free immersion and constant weight freediving beyond 20 meters/60 feet.

PRIVATE AIDA 3: Advanced Freediver Course
The AIDA 3 Advanced Freediver course builds on the skills learned in the AIDA 2 Freediver course, and is designed to cover the necessary skills and knowledge for a recreational freediver to be able to safely dive to depths of 20 meters or more. Our course is designed to further develop skills from previous levels, to acquire new skills, and gain a higher knowledge of safety procedures and techniques. Examples of some new techniques that are introduced in a AIDA 3 course are free-fall, frenzel equalizing, the use of training tables, and much more. Students will train these skills in the most common disciplines of freediving: static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion, and constant weight. In our AIDA 3 Freediver course, students will also learn to how perform a static apnea of at least 2 minutes and 45 seconds, a proper dynamic bi fins dive of at least 55 meters, a constant weight bi-fins dive of at least 24 meters, a simulated black out rescue from at least 10 meters, a rescue surface tow of 50 meters, a mask & fin removal with controlled ascent from 10 meters, and proper free fall positioning.

It’s time for a big ‘ole family style get together! Bring your friends, family, and heck, even your neighbors, because it’s time to get together and get our fins wet. Whether you want to train with an instructor, do some line diving, meet some new dive buddies, get an initial taste for freediving, or just enjoy the water, this is the perfect day to do it!
Details:
FREE to attend (but don’t forget your park entrance fees).
Open to all divers and experience levels (no certifications required).
No sign up is required, just meet up with us at the location provided!
Rental equipment is available (rental gear is limited, so we honor first come, first serve. Must be requested at least 48 hours in advance).
One float and line provided (others may bring their own if they desire).

Intro to Freediving Course
Learn the basics and safety skills of freediving in a day!
Looking for a new way to explore the underwater world? Then the Intro to Freediving course is the perfect place to start. This course is designed for adventurers and water lovers with little to no freediving experience who aren’t ready to commit to a full certification course. During the course, students will spend the day learning basic freediving and safety skills. Students will learn to extend their breath hold up to an average of 1 minutes and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, swim confidently underwater with fins, and all the safety and rescue skills to recreate responsibly.
After completing the Intro to Freediving course, students can easily upgrade to their first certification course by adding on an open water dive at a later date.

AIDA 2: Freediver Course
The AIDA 2 Freediver course is the foundational course of the AIDA freediving certifications and covers all of the necessary skills and knowledge to begin your freediving journey. The static and dynamic sessions in confined water are used to teach relaxation, breathing, finning and safety techniques. In the open water sessions, students will apply the skills they have learned in the pool / confined water sessions and combine them with the basic skills of open water freediving such as equalizing, duck diving, vertical swimming, body positioning, turns and use of buoyancy. In our AIDA 2 Freediver course, students will learn to how perform a static apnea of at least 2 minutes, a proper demonstration of dynamic bi fins technique, a constant weight bi-fins dive of at least 12 meters, a simulated black out rescue from at least 5 meters, and how to buddy a diver to at least 10 meters.

Private Training
With Depth Wish, our private trainings are specifically customized to your needs! These one on one sessions maximize your feedback ratio in order to advance your abilities in any type of freediving discipline. We’ll start with a 15-30 minute video call prior to the training day so we can discuss your experience and goals, which allows us to come prepared with a personalized approach to your needs. Then, we’ll meet at a spring for a full day of diving. During the dive day, we’ll also take photos and videos so you can see exactly what we’re talking about, and be able to visually compare your results at the end of the day.

PADI 3: Master Freediver Course
Looking to join the 100’ club?
The PADI Level Three Master Freediver course is designed for freedivers who are looking to maximize their depths, dive times, and overall knowledge of the sport. This course is also perfect for those looking to get into the competitive world of freediving. The Master Freediver course continues knowledge and skill development with further development in static apnea over 3 minutes and 30 seconds, dynamic apnea to 70 meters/230 feet, free immersion and constant weight freediving to a minimum of 32 meters/105 feet. Students will also be expected to research, complete, and present a 2,000 word paper on a specific subject of their choosing that is related to freediving.

PADI 2: Advanced Freediver Course
Ready to dive deeper and longer?
The PADI Level Two Advanced Freediver course continues the development of freedivers who have mastered the fundamental knowledge and skills for static, dynamic and constant weight freediving. It is intended for freediving enthusiasts who wish to progress by furthering their knowledge and skills. During the course, students will continue developing their understanding of how the underwater world interacts with their body, how that affects them when freediving, refine their selection of freediving equipment, improve their equalization techniques for deeper freediving, improve their breath hold dive time and depth, and advance their skills as a buddy/safety. Students will learn to further develop their static apnea over 2 minutes and 30 seconds, dynamic apnea to 50 meters/165 feet, and free immersion and constant weight freediving beyond 20 meters/60 feet.

PADI 1: Freediver Course
Ready to begin your freediving journey?
The PADI Level One Freediver course is perfect for those who want to learn the fundamentals of freediving. It is intended to elevate the casual snorkeler or skin diver into a freediving enthusiast, so it emphasizes the specialized breathing techniques, equipment, procedures and safety issues associated with it. During the course, students will develop the knowledge and skills for a basic static apnea over 90 seconds, dynamic apnea to 25 meters/80 feet, and free immersion and constant weight freediving beyond 10 meters/33 feet. Students are guaranteed to leave this course with everything they need to know to casually freedive confidently, and, most importantly, safely!

Community Dive Day
It’s time for a big ‘ole family style get together! Bring your friends, family, and heck, even your neighbors, because it’s time to get together and get our fins wet. Whether you want to train with an instructor, do some line diving, meet some new dive buddies, get an initial taste for freediving, or just enjoy the water, this is the perfect day to do it!
Details:
FREE to attend (but don’t forget your park entrance fees).
Open to all divers and experience levels (no certifications required).
No sign up is required, just meet up with us at the location provided!
Rental equipment is available (rental gear is limited, so we honor first come, first serve. Must be requested at least 48 hours in advance).
One float and line provided (others may bring their own if they desire).
