The AIDA 3 Advanced Freediver course builds on the skills learned in the AIDA 2 Freediver course, and is designed to cover the necessary skills and knowledge for a recreational freediver to be able to safely dive to depths of 20 meters or more. Our course is designed to further develop skills from previous levels, to acquire new skills, and gain a higher knowledge of safety procedures and techniques. Examples of some new techniques that are introduced in a AIDA 3 course are free-fall, frenzel equalizing, the use of training tables, and much more. Students will train these skills in the most common disciplines of freediving: static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion, and constant weight. In our AIDA 3 Freediver course, students will also learn to how perform a static apnea of at least 2 minutes and 45 seconds, a proper dynamic bi fins dive of at least 55 meters, a constant weight bi-fins dive of at least 24 meters, a simulated black out rescue from at least 10 meters, a rescue surface tow of 50 meters, a mask & fin removal with controlled ascent from 10 meters, and proper free fall positioning.
